Bihar Board 12th English Syllabus 2026 Full Information
Bihar Board Class 12th English Syllabus is divided into two parts. BTC 12th English Book is kept in the first part, while important topics of English Grammar are included in the second part. Both the parts will be combined to conduct the Class 12th exam 2026 for 100 marks.
For your information, Bihar Board has not changed the exam pattern since 2021. So the number of questions in your board exam will be double, out of which you will have to answer only 50% of the questions will have to answer.

Bihar Board 12th English Book Syllabus 2025-26
Bihar Board Class 12th students have to read two books issued by BTC, the name of the first book is Ranbow Part II and the name of the second book is Story Of English. Bihar Board Class 12th English First Book is divided into two parts. The first part contains 11 chapters of the prose section and the second part contains 10 chapters of the poetry section. And students will have to read a total of 6 chapters in the Story of English Book. The names of all the chapters are given in the table below –

Bihar Board conducts the theoretical exam of Class 12th English in two sections. In the first “Section A” objective type questions are asked and in “Section B” subjective questions are asked. The exam pattern is explained in simple language through the table below
